WASH YOUR HAIR EVERY TWO WEEKS WITH SHAMPOO
  • Detangle your extensions before washing using a DETANGLE brush. We know that some people "co wash" (only using conditioner) before installing, which is ok. However, we do recommend using a shampoo to make sure the hair is clean from any dirt or anything.

  • Detangle while co washing from bottom to top, rinse in cool water so that the curl patterns can remain very tight. NEVER use hot water when washing our curly extensions, it loosens the curl pattern.
  • Why do I need to deep condition? It helps with detangling, frizzing, and it adds moisture to the hair that was stripped by the shampoo.

  • Deep condition for 15 minutes and rinse in cold water. Air dry your hair or sit under a dryer.
  • Before you flat iron the hair, make sure you blow out the hair well for the shiniest look. Always use heat protectant before flat ironing. Do not put a lot of products in your hair. This can cause your hair to be stiff and begin to tangle. Flat iron the hair in thin sections for a silky and smooth look.

  • We recommend having the bundles dyed by a professional. If you dye your hair, make sure that the hair is washed well and that no dye residues and ammonia remain in the hair, otherwise the hair will become damaged and feel rough.

HAIR CARE TIPS FOR BYKAÉNOMIE RAW VIETNAMESE CURLY HAIR

  • It is mandatory that you wet these textures at least once a day and apply a curl defining cream.

  • To keep the wet look all day apply a curl defining/curl control cream while the hair is wet. This way it will stop the hair from frizzing, getting poofy. It will give the hair a nice, soft and tamed wet look while its dry.

  • We recommend products from Shea Moisture to care for every type of our raw hair.
